    I sit here with time
    Waiting to go by
Trying so hard to ease my mind
    I talk with myself
    Inside of this head
    Fighting for calm
    Anxiety instead
I don’t want to be alone
    But really I know
    That I have to
    Have to let go
    Or hold onto so
    Many
    Thoughts
    Questions
    Hurt feelings
    And expectations
    For answers that aren’t there
    Pouring down tears
    That I can’t explain.

this reminds me of so many pieces that i've written that i have forced myself to let go. it may be depriving of what's self-worth, but sometimes necessary to get to the sources of our pride and vanquish them.
this piece under-rules what is our pride, what helps us from sucking up those tears to keep them for happier moments - moments when we cry not due to anguish but to joy. i hope you have those. i don't know if the piece is personal, but it reads like it.
love your icon, love you, more importantly. don't let the healing stop.
