    -------------------------------------------

Do you know what it's like to feel alone in a crowded room
stuck in your mind with thoughts begin to zoom
here take this pill to make it all go away
I hated living that way day to day
do you know what it's like to be a prisoner of your own mind
looking for a way out but there's nothing to find
The pens ink bleeds like blood from my vein
do you know how hard it is with all this to try to stay sane
the pen is my sword and paper my shield
to protect me from all the thoughts I have to wield
as the blood I mean ink starts to flow
anxiousness fades and my heart beats slow
it's time for the battle of the wit
as a alone in my mind I sit
Surrounded by people and friends all the same
Don't get me wrong there is nobody to blame
Again I ask do you know what it's like to feel alone in a crowded room
