You know, I’m calling this summer the “summer of peaches”. Enjoying what seasons off us is Life at its most simple...and isn’t simplicity the grandest luxury of life? A simple, “ordinary” peach, can touch our tongues with Epiphanies.
I believe that’s what you mean here. That we can become weary with philosophy and poetry and profundities- and that sometimes it’s good to be bestial. To enjoy the simple, in simplicity, and let it fill us to the brim.
I love the message you get across so quickly and so succinctly in this piece. It has great word pictures and grounds the reader in what matters most- stopping to enjoy the simple things that we are blessed with.
