Description:

Tidal

The memories rolled in like clouds over a starry sky
The faint chirping of crickets is swallowed by the roaring of waves

Eternity fights hard against the endlessness
And it starts to rain.

A cold Summer night
Moonlight can still be seen,
gently kissing the palm trees

Vastness is an ocean
Forever are the stars reflected in the water
Details are in the wind,
blowing away footprints in the sand

You should be here

The general idea I’m getting from this piece is that something or another is being obscured by something else.

Ie. Clouds roll over the stars/crickets chirping swallowed by waves/footprints being blown away

You use nice imagery to get listlessness across. The sense I’m getting is that of despair. As if you’ve lost and or are yearning for a lover or a time of love gone by. Maybe childhood and the sweet memories of family.

Overall, I think you did a good job here. Well done.
