    Sank in cold soil, cut off from the night dwellings
    Their little flames, from here I see, from here I thirst
    And the amusements have ended, nothing but rubbish;
    Lights turned down on the last waltzer, country houses
    County fairs, normcore festivals, they've all shut down
    If the nightclubs open this time of year, and they could
    The shutters brought down on them for me as well
    For I'll not walk and see the people round me,
    I won't see their garbled features, their comings and goings
    Make no impression. There is no movie you could show me
    Down here, that I'll ever learn from again,
    Other images shock me in their nakedness,
    They seep into the ground beside me like bodies,
    Wide-eyed, dry-mouthed palpatating misfortunates
    Can they not see stars from here?

      I think it started very strong.
    I really like the first three lines. I enjoyed reading this.
