    Fighting the demons within.
Why wont they just let me begin,
    the life, I suppose
    I'm supposed to be in.
One of joy, love, peace within.
    The white picket fence
    The dinner at 6
    Round the table we speak
    of goals and dreams.
    Dishes and wishes.
    Laughter and splatter.
    A shower for 2
    Wash my back
    I'll wash yours too.
    In bed by 10.
    A kiss goodnight.
    Cuddled tight
    by a loving hand.
    Dreams of tomorrow
    No more sorrow.
    That lonely void
    never again.

i think this is something alot of people could relate to at least once in their life. i'm a little torn on the line

    the life, I suppose
    I'm supposed to be in.

you've gotta read it just right for it to sound right. but i do like the near repitition. although i can also understand writing to just vent some emotions and not really worrying about how it reads to others. that's mainly what i do anyhow. just wanted to say i enjoyed the writing. take care.
