Look up the sky, the good
    God starkly gazes down,
    deliberate, a vacuum of
    gazes: blue gauze of gossamer
    threads, studied to death,
    into oblivion, the way
    it flaps across the planets
    empty spaces, expanding
    pleuras: return me back to
    Myself.

Yeah. Pleuras. The clouded mind and the outside of someone looking at the Earth. There's a suggestion of solipsism in your poem here. Suppose you could question who is being studied here, the outside looking in or someone looking at the outside. And studying it to death. Except you the observer remains.

What do these comments mean here? Reading a poem and thinking "huh," tis solipsism. But aside from all that its a good read today. Let me ask is "look up the sky"? as intended, as in suggesting looking up the sky on a computer?

I always appreciate poetry which teaches or at least forces me to teach myself something new. I also like the way "blue gauze of gossamer" rolls off the tongue. I was once guilty of "studying to death" some things, but as I approach knowing myself better that whole impossible thing seems to fall into the "monkey mind" category, at least by some observations. Replace "God" with "Lloyd" and this becomes quite personal. Heck, what else am I going to spend this time doing if not over-analyzing everything in the Universe strictly for my own amusement? Then the fun part comes when we try to explain it to others and you find out there's actually a whole passel of monkeys whose apparent sole purpose is to prevent that.
