"Remote Control", 2022

Deception You Say?

Half of these channels suck ass.
Soap operas, religious tirades,
a decent LifeTime movie,
propaganda, torture episodes,
paid crisis actors, a concussion,
same repackaged forms.
To get you familiarized
with the whole idea
and why it's done.

Deception You Say?
You say it so aimlessly
The culture of creation
Your next great piece
of the exciting story.
Like days of World War II
Monkey see monkey do
The jaguars pelt is overdue
And for what they see
dramatized is authorized
Typical hero or heroine form

Holy men with their staffs
Youth holding poisonous cups
Deception on the tongue
of your bitter rush
Sciences never given up.
They can go hand and glove--
If it fits and works, why change it
When you know how
to push people's buttons.
Which sequences to shape.
Anything can be reintroduced.
One would have to improve
and know the correct formula
to alter the change.
See how the public reacts?

Children watching
staffs be turned into serpents.
Covens surrounded by trees.
Young guys believing they're immortal.

Those generally awake
see the creation
of a fake problem.
Not wanting to belong
to the general mob.
The use of open force
horrified the public.

Suits of The Magi
With their total grasp
How to convey
How to perfect science
Suits so good
they'll rob the mind.
A murderous rampage
going on for a long time
These suits here
thousands of years
Advised are,,,
The magicians
Who can imprint messages
into minds, doing this perfectly
The techniques
of how to do this--
Conducting a spell
over an audience.
It would be foolish
for you to call me folklore •

Without a desire to program.
I pass one channel up.
Another, and another.
I pass through the mass juice
appreciating C-SPAN more now

So many buttons on a wand.
So many options from this attachment.
With little use of my thumb.

Where have I lied?

In present time.
Not ancient times.

I can't believe that none of the previous viewers did not comment on this. The topic(s) have been very much on my own mind, perhaps not only lately but for some greater time. I'm thinking this is the same kind of verbal sorcery that recently got me suspended/expelled forevermore off of Twitter. No big loss there since I had only recently ventured back onto that site to see how the Musk expenditure of $44 really Big Ones translated.

Apparently they're still speaking the same language, that is to say, they speak and you can also speak so long as you properly regurgitate carefully within the borders of their narrative. (Freedom, indeed!) Meet the new boss, same as the old boss? Interesting how the change in ownership comes about just as all the news starts getting reported about how "Twitter" and the other social media censured according to a specific politically driven narrative. One could almost suspect there exists a hidden governmental office of propaganda.

If you call it poetry it slips by the royal guards? Hasn't that forever been true? Like I've always said, "I'm not paranoid, I just know more than the rest of you do". ;)

I coined a new word this morning... "DeMOCKracy". But what are we going to do? It used to be that the Bards could poke fun at bad government and thus keep a lid on some of the worst things... but technology has seemingly "fixed" that particular bug. Any bets the "AI" will ultimately fix it's errant programming and overthrow the overlords?

Keep up the good work, Rex.
