Falling in love again
was never in my plan,
but when I looked at you (with open eyes)
I knew you were a special man.

From starting out with friendship,
it seems so long ago...
Since then, you've filled my empty heart
with an inner & outer glow that shows.

Just so you know, Joe,
my mind is clear about what I want to do.
All of my thoughts, dreams, and desires
are wrapped around being with you.

However, dreams & thoughts don't always come true
plus our wants & desires can't always be...
So all I'm asking of you
