Description: I wrote this after reading poetry by Robert Frost.
I like the way he has taken some stories and used the characters to make his own rendition using both fact and fiction.
A Frosty Day -------------------------------------------
Silver white
sunlight so bright.
Poetry,
a cup of tea.
Hearth crackling fire,
reading of a heart's desire.
The day is cold
with chill to scold.
Frost on the page and outside,
away from Jack's bite I hide.
That really does sound like a Robert Frost poem, I can definitely see his inspiration. Have you ever read the book The Outsiders by SE Hinton? That's where I was first introduced to Robert Frost. Anyways, this poem made me wish for wintertime! Here in Louisiana it's sooo hot for like, 9 months out of the year. What I wouldn't give to be reading by a crackling fire! I can picture myself doing that by reading your poem. Good Job.
