This is just a poem that describes my relationship with my ex. It's like If i look back at how we were one year ago, it's like things were completely different. That why this poem is titled one year later.

In only a short amount of time I experienced heaven
I tasted love and slept with its weapon
I honored her every step and plentiful grace
Woke up every morning just to see her face
One year later and her love is no more
Now i cry so much that my eyes are sore
All I wanted was to last forever
One year later and were not even together
My heart was completely open and now shes gone
The truth is that I was mislead and cheated on
Who could of known what she was lying
With this much pain at heart Id rather be dying
Her mind and smile were the only things i charished
Here I cry alone hurt and embarrassed
My only intentions were to keep her happy
Now shes with a new man and they hooked up gladly
A 17 year old girl and a 27 year old waiter
Here I stand alone and crying one year later

Ahhh...this was a really heartfelt piece, and I hope your tears are no more...The only thing I found distracting was your lack of punctuation...EX: alone, hurt and embarrased...If you clean it up a little you would have an excellent piece...B
