I say what I mean
And I mean what I say,
But you don’t listen
Or try to comprehend.
I can’t argue with you anymore,
It hurts too much.
You can’t see,
How you are out of touch.
We both come out hurt
With scars we don't show,
Each of us wanting to make up,
But neither able to forgive.
How hard it is to say,
I am sorry.
Obviously a lot,
Because we can't muster those three words.
I scream, I yell
I bang my fists
And I secretly wish
We'd stop fighting like this. |
