This is compiled of different phrases Kelly, Katie, Curran and Susan uttered while describing some of their experiences (along with my additions/revisions/woman-handling to make it flow at a Confrence they attended on behalf of our church.

A big topic was how we are taking back the word evangelism from the more stuffy people and hoepfully making it a word people no longer cringe at.

'Looking out on the room
the beauty shines around me,
with skin tones blending together
like a living quilt.
Now I know our welcome mat
sits proudly outside the door,
when thirty-nine languages given voice
serenade body and soul.'

captured in a sparkling vase
of Evangelistic hope.

ok ithis is what i imagined as i red you poem...maybe you can let me know what i had right and what i had wrong...

'Looking out on the room
the beauty shines around me,
(ou are obviously somewhere, that fills you with excitement and anxiousness, joyful and radiant)
with skin tones blending together
like a living quilt.
(there is a massive number of people, and all different races are together~like a concert but greater.)
Now I know our welcome mat
sits proudly outside the door,
(you are imagening you home on your way back from this place...)
when thirty-nine languages given voice
serenade body and soul.'
(and you describe the event in these simple words- about how it moved you inside and out.)
Kelly, Katie, Curran, and Susan
brought this bask for us,

of Evangelistic hope.
(after all you keep a reminder of the what that day brought to all f you... a spiritual message... and hope.)

i think its totaly meaningful and i can only wish i would have been there! you found your way to my favs.

This is a good write. I can picture everything that you say which is awsome! I think you have true poetic talent.
