    dotsLe Nilotiquedots

    For some unknown, untouched
    Unstarted or undead or unending
    Reason to believe that much
If not all we are is pretending
    To be something else
    We have chosen

    A thousand ways leading to
    The same place of solitude
The emotions that we leave unspoken
Jealousy or fear or the possibility
To mend the thousand lives we have broken
    These dreamy wishes cannot be

    A truth we both know
A tragedy by itself, an afterglow
    Of a pretentious and insecure
    Or devouring and impure
    Feeling of love

    And this feeling of contradicting
    The meaning of devotion
    To reduce every human being

    To the slavery of emotions.

l am not too sure what your message is within your poem, yet, it feels like a longing to change what is. And hoping for a better outcome, then what was. Very interesting, indeed.
