I wrote this to my wife for our tenth Anniversay. It is amazing how time changes things. 10 years agao there is nothing that was evident that would give us the slightest hint as to what was in store for us.

I like the image in Parent hood when the Grandmother talks about the Roller Coaster ride that life has a habit of creating. I agree that I like the Roller Coaster Story. If you have not seen this movie, I highly recomment it. If you have seen this I hope you can relate to that message in your own personal way.

I have created this poem for my wife, but it is a statement that maybe you can use for your own life. I hope so....Enjoy, and I, of course, welcome any thoughts and reflections on this.....Christopher Osgood

    Ten fingers
    Ten toes
    Ten pettles
    On a rose

    Ten years seem
    like a blink
Eyes openeing for the first time.....

    A childs first breath.....
His first bath in a kitchen sink.....

Huddled together in a bath tub.....Laughing.....
    Your men.....
Frozen in time in a photograph.....

Building a snowman as tall as our house
Looking up at the stars that twinkle on our
    bedroom ceiling.....

    Peering into your eyes.....
As we hold our second child
Seeing you again for the first time
Finding it hard to believe that after ten years
    Life still seems so new.....

Watching walk with my sons at the beach

Sunlight etches a memory in my mind.....
Walking hand in hand with my sons.....
    Collecting sea shells

    A mile of beach
    Hundreds of people
Yet the most beautiful stands out.....

Peering as a young boy hits another

With this ring I thee Wed.....
Words that I will cherish for the
    Reaminder of my Years.....

    Happy tenth Anniversary

    I truely love you.....

And everyone in the room goes "Awww..." This is a very sweet poem, and a very lovely way to describe ten years of your life within a few paragraphs. I can't wait for 20 or 25 years to come by and see if you write something else this meaningful and wonderful. I respect that you feel that you can post this on a huge site like this, and I would like to quote you, if you would let me. Thank you for writing. -Archadya
