The cold air seems so hollow
Sitting here so quiet and alone
Waiting for the moonlight
So brightly it has shone
Caught in my own mid-glance
A lone raven in the sky
Shining so red from the sun
As it is slowly flying by
It seems that everything stops
The bird is hovering still
Feathers posess a certain glow
Eyes whose glance could kill
The air around it feeling
A sense of utter loss
Creating itself a barrier
No one could ever cross
Deep in my mind I understand
Were not too different, bird and I
Misunderstood, dark yet good
The moon comes in the sky
This placid scene comes to life
The bird now flies away
I wonder now what caused it all
Why couldn't it have stayed |
