Description: This peice just isn't quite the same on the net (typed out) as it is in person. I love this peice because I wrote it completely from magazine clippings (which means there's no room for editing!). It's "Found" Poetry, and what I did was go through dozens of magazines and cut out the "appealing" words... (words that I thought were intresting to look at or meaningful, or just down right pretty words! Then I scattered them on the floor, all face up, and began to piece them together. My goal was to finish a puzzle, and to use all the words. And by the time I had finished... this poem is what I had created!

Life Is A Journey -------------------------------------------
life is a journey
here we go:
the Begining
-you're born-
our orgins of revolution
new birth
waking up
to see what
will be coming
soon...
And a Middle
-you live-
forging life
is hard to do.
You work and play
like life is a mission
to fufill.
You can make it all happen
and feel alive,
but it will change...
The End
- you die -
moving on to another
dimention: Eternity.
Your options defy the laws of
a "Perfect World";
All reflections creat
a peace of mind
it's about time for
a better place...
Come dance with me...
come along for the ride.
All who are lost
or have ever feared
what is beyond
can be enlightened

I like this a lot cuz sometimes i feel the same. But i could never put it down into words and you have done it. So a great poem. well written and very poetic.
thats good eah. great acctually. i often find myself thinking about life love and the universe (the answer is 42) and this is a great way to put it to words. in lmy lit class (with my crazy teacher whom i love dearly) we do found poems all the time and then discuss how society is writing epic poetry and doesnt know it. its great to see us all in his floor with all the desks pushed to one side (or stacked on eachother) and magazines thrown all over the place and hearing "hey has anyone found <insert word> yet?!" its awesome! found poetry is sometimes the best poetry. nice one.
Wow! That's so cool! That's something I've never thought of. . . what a nifty idea! I might try something like that sometime, just for fun and being bored's sake. There were a few spelling errors but they're insubstantial. Very cool. . . and creative. -Secret
Its a good poem, especially the way it was made, that takes time. (had to do one in english class) It cool that you took the three stages in life and put it down from clippings. Very Nice Job.
