Description: you know the majority of my poems are either under my bed, but the ones i put in here are for convience cuz i write them during school in my agenda so its just handy.
this one was kinda a spin off of 'evenings' if someone will please comment on that too.
dusk -------------------------------------------
if dreams were tangible we would carry our weight
do you recall the nights we spent in the darkness?
the creatures called to our minds
seeking our souls to overcome
subdued into necessity they relinquished to our forecoming
power hungry were we
for the night was our haven
our home of peacefullness
if our aspirations were fullfilled we would obtain the impossible
do you remember the days we spent iin the forests?
races of lands showed themselves
bent to our will we ruled them all
the kingdoms our sole authority
the sun settles swiftly now
beyond the horizon it nestles
until we call it again
the essence of our world shall never be undone
discover the evil ive mastered
to have taken the lives of those i sought
now only we flicker between our days
oh yea one more thing. 'evenings' is a monologue of my character in the movie i wrote. 'dusk', i only call it a spin-off because of the whole question explanatory darkness of it. the two poems are not supposed to be related, so perhaps i should just have said that its a very very lose spin-off. this one's not capitalized, cuz i dont capitalize anything. the only reason 'evenings' is, is cuz its in a script.
just to make it clear to everyone out there, i should really state this in my journal, but...my poems are not about me nor are they about anyone else. they are usually based upon stories i think of but never write, or i am simply bored. i like to write this kind of stuff cuz its fun. thats all. but thank you all for thinking im so well advanced beyond my age. i love hearing that from people.
wow, and all this at 15, what a vivid memory, I used to have one like that, but like my hair it's slowly disappearing, lol...This is remarkable and I would like to see you add to it as time goes on, very nicely done..keep writing you are very talented...Bob:)
