Description:

Doug gets to travel a lot since his dad works for the newspaper. he says he wants to take me everywhere he's been. *sigh*

Travel

Take me somewhere
new...
Take me everywhere
you've been
to the places my eyes
have never seen
but my heart
has dreamed
to write about.

Take me away
to a far off place
with rolling hills
and where you can
see the horizon for miles and miles
that never seem to end.

Take me some place
magical and mysterious
where, at night,
you can look up
and see more stars
then your mind can fathom.

Take me to your world,
I want to see everything
you've seen
to know what you know.
I want to travel to where
you have been;
I want to be there
with you.

I enjoyed this poem greatly. I want to see what you see, that hits a cord in my heart. The longing to want to see the places someone you hold dear to your heart is clear in this poem. I don't have any suggestions to make it better. This is very good. :)

Aww, seems sort of like a song... The descriptions sound beautiful. I personally love traveling and one of my goals is to see as much of the world as I can (and on my budget that won't be much), but anyway this is sweet.
P.S. I swear I heard a song like this somewhere...

  This is so cute.
It gives so much imagery and makes me tingle. It reminds me of summer, when I go camping and the crazy amounts of stars that are everywhere. It feels like Im a million miles away from anything important.
Its so amazing. I cant even describe it.
Anyways. Your poem brought back all my adventures from travelling in Europe, camping, etc.
I love it.
