    dotsMonochrome Devouring Colordots
    -------------------------------------------

Winter is a delicate velour dream,
    the snow a languid skin
    covering the thick earth:
white beneath a pale gray sky
    stark and beautiful,
    monochrome devouring color.
    Will nothingness overwhelm all
and the world become a blank page?

You like the winter don't you? It shows in your writing. I miss winter even more after reading your work. That's an okay thing, I'm just reminded of how beautiful it really is during that season.
How I wish the world stayed monochrome forever, but, oh well.
I love the line "stark and beautiful", it speaks volumes about the piece in general.
    Cheers

I've been searching about for your work, as I know you won't be posting. This I really like, the idea of monochrome devouring color just fits. I lived lakeside at one time, few of us were there all winter, as it was a summer resort area. The trees were bare and the lay of the land was gorgeous in the snow. Just hope the monochrome this year doesn't stay forever. You made me jealous when you said it doesn't get cold in South Carolina. I could go for that. What a shame it would be if the world became a blank page. Hugs, sweetness,
    Nan

"delicate velour dream"... very pretty. It's interesting, how much you write about winter. You're from down south, right? This piece has a lovely little flow. Very charming. <><
