self evident

Where are my
Brothers at the base
of the pedestal?
Don't get me wrong
Memory and Time
make for good
poems too
but if the first
was penned by
a Man
I'll bet you that
it was
too woo
the object
of his desire.
Where is the adoration
and the worship?
Are you really so willing
to leave
your own Mother
out
in the cold?
Ready
to deny the power
in the way
a Woman's whipser
can bring the
whole world
crashing
down?
I know I must
sound sycophantic
but I have
EYES for gods sake
And Women have EYES
and I have meet many of them;
In passing
In hiding
and In search for truth
Hmmm. . . I think my idol's been a empty for a little too long. . . forever's a pretty long time. . .
Yeah whatever, anyhoo! This piece is really well-written. I love stuff that's written with short lines so that obviously pulled me right on in. You've got a few grammatical/spelling errors: "anyboy" should prolly be "anybody", "too woo" should be "to woo". That's it really. I like this poem a lot. Good write! -Secret
WOMAN ARE AMAZING. Of course I'm female and hear me roar. I feel respected most of the time and I agree that women in general should be adored more through poetry.
You are the bomb diggity. Seriously. More guys should feel like this. I wish I could find a guy that feels like this. *sighs* I love the poem. It speaks so much to women and lets them know that there are guys out there that will still treat them decently.
I thouroughly enjoyed this little piece of work. More men should worship at the alter. Actually I've found that women really appreciate and gravitate to men that have an innate appreciation for women in general. There's something very sexy and appealing about a man who just LIKES women and appreciates them in all forms. jan
Yes indeed, what would this place be it weren't for us women? All you men would be helplessly hanging. The picture of a world without us is impossible to imagine. heh heh. Anyway, nice use of words. More men should appreciate women with this passion that you have portrayed. I am blessed to have found one of them that do. Nice piece.
I would have to agree women make my life worthwhile :) but where is the worhip and adoration? Id like to hear more of that ..than you stating that it should be said..
If there's one man all women don't need to worry about it's me. i treat them with the ulmost respect always open the door for them, give them my chair, let them go ffirst in lines, etc. by the way i was the only guy in my senoir class. no wonder it was always hot in the class rooms.
