    Description:
I don't really think this is a great poem, I just needed to write about it.

Have you ever lay so close to someone yet been so far apart?

    That night we lay together,
    Holding each other so tight,
Yet knowing it didn't mean the same.

    As you stroked my hair,
I got the same butterflies I did before.
    But as I respond,
I know we're not the same.

    We talked for a while,
There's still a lot of feeling.
Just not the ones there were before.

    And you don't know this
But while you slept I watched over you,
    Told you everything I felt,
And it was a perfect sight.

I like it because its a contrast to the dark poetry most people write. Many people write very dark poetry but I like this one. Thats for sharing it and I am happy for your love.

seeing such happy memories being poured into words it's what makes writing so wonderful.. it is clear that you have been very happy and love someone a great deal.. i hope that feeling stays with you.. because it is rare.. i hope the best for you..
Oh yeah and this is very good..

Be kind, take a few minutes to review the hard work of others <3
It means a lot to them, as it does to you.
