    -------------------------------------------

I walk out in the open,
    Desperately, I reach for you,
But you're just outside my grasp,
And I feel I'm falling short.

    Sinking into hell,
As I watch you turn from me,
    Our fingertips caress just once,
    Then you are ripped away.

    Pulled by circumstances,
    Drowning in my inferno,
    I struggle to break free,
    Help me free myself.

All I need is your concern,
    Won't you reach for me?
Because I'm dying, watch me bleed,
    I'm falling short of everything.

This is a lovely, sad expression. Wonderful use of words. I am not going to pick fault. I feel the emotion very strongly throughout this piece.

All I need is your concern,
    Won't you reach for me?
Because I'm dying, watch me bleed,
    I'm falling short of everything

that stanza is by far my favourite.
    Thank you.
