you have broken into my mind and stolen my thoughts for the day. Short pieces like this that really say something profound make me giddy. Sometimes even though there is no contact, the ethereal strings we have connected to these people remain intact for all of eternity. Magnolia
you're putting another one of my thoughts into words again. you have a special knack for that! great job. the only thing I would say is to add more. other than that, it's just fine, lovely prose.
Great as always, Beulah. I think we've all been there. I know there are friends and exes that I'd like to meet up with in a creative capacity, but I'm always wary.
Sharing the intangible through the intangible, cute idea. Your poem and it's length are nice I think that had this poem been longwinded it would'nt have worked.
Quite short, it is like one sentence really, but I liked what it expressed. Interesting to combine 'telepathic genius' with 'space and time', it doesn't really make much sense, but at the same time it does for some odd reason, as well as being a perfect ending for this poem. It's weird how you can lose contact with someone for silly reasons, and find yourself wondering what it would be like to pick up contact again. Nice write.
Great concept... the way you portrayed the loss of a friendship and the wish that it hadn't happened comes across very clearly in the few short lines. In life we all make decisions that we sometimes regret and mostly we are too proud to admit that we made the wrong choice. Hence we end up wishing we could go back in time to fix what is broken.
I don't think that's just you thinking this. We would naturally remember how we related to someone. And if the friendship part of it worked, well who knows. I don't think you can go back in time, but I also don't think relationships should die because of walls. The trick is to tear them down, we do that all our lives. Now that you know and you can imagine telepathic genius going on... I hope you don't mind my responding this way, I think this one's a head's up. How could I find anything wrong with a perfectly rendered work? thanks for sharing, Nan
