Description:
Kali is a Hindu Goddess. She is both a destroyer and a creator. I often start thinking about what I've read about her before I go on a creative journey. So I made this sortof about how things inspire me to create and in another way a little tribute to Kali. Well.. I hope that the little contradictions like erubescent and lucid are what intrigue you about this poem.. but take away from it what you will.. wether it is understood or not is all up to the person reading it.. but like i have said before hate it, like it, love it, whatever.

Divine Inspiration dots

Lucid erubescent lacerations,
Scar tissues on my soul,
Creations on paper,
Cleansing the attic of my mind,
Fabricating a collage of haunts,
The poltergeist named Kali,
Silencing the tumultuous ego of man,
Beckoning me to run to my weapon,
The dagger of peace, the pencil,
Straight, curved, triangular,
Make every line count,
Screaming, I see. Eye see!
Inspired by deities, people, life.

  The Kali/Hindu part aside (not knowing enough about it)... I really liked this.
We can find inspiration in all sorts of things, if we really "look" hard enough.

  well i have to agree with storm of bliss cuz im not real familiar with hindu religion but i also have an idea of what u are talking about. this seemed like a very nicely written piece otherwise!lol well im off to read some other stuff of yours!

  eye see... sorry! i couldn't control myself. this a real work of art. the way you write about writting is so very genius. no, but seriously! its a glorious write and in a way very impowering. the way this is written its almost like a war cry to your ink. good job.

  There is a certain beauty in regards to contradictions, much like the technique of contrast as well as puns and other play on words –which fascinate me as well as allow me to draw the conclusion that this is not only unique, yet as well as an acquired taste!
“Attic of my mind” –I enjoyed this metaphor and its effectiveness…
The comparing of something in which is physical yet inanimate to something of which is imperceptible is an abstract method. You are an academic, to say the least.
This pieces is an inspirational prayer to your Goddess Kali.
Beautiful and personally significant…

  this is very interesting. i had a cat named Kali once, and she was a hellion! i like how you describe the pen as a dagger of peace. that's cool! this is very original and unique. i like it!
