Description: The inspiration to write this poem came from the scene of a murder some months ago....whereback in my university as i watch the "guy's" corpse been carried away after rival cult groups killed him that afternoon in school....
He lays lifeless
As sympathiers watch his helpless Corpse
Not knowing what to do
The university he had come
Now he leaves
Without an accomplishment
He had long being here(university)
Here he is;
With a liveless heart
On the place he had longed for
What a world,
Our campuses had turned into
Where students turned killers
My heart bleeds for this generation
Oh! when will the killings end?
Academic pursuit seeketh all of us
With one vision
Why then this killings?
Oh; students of likemind
Let's stop the bloodshed
For the future is ours
We cannot but build a loving heart
And see our dreams come true
We must set a pace
For generations to come
For in our campuses
Lies the foundation
Let peace reign today.
Great piece of work i commend you very well discribed I have a tendancy always to read untitled pieces because there is no title to confuse the thought your mind is open when reading when my pen rambles on i call it untitled just as you have here and it turns into a great work of art nice job sandman
the essage i this is excellent, why are we killing each other in our places of learning? lifeless instead of liveless in second stanza, just a small mistake. Otherwise, a very questioning and inspiring peice. let us take the future and not let this happen again. I;m so sorry that happened
