In sticky hot weather
A kiss on the cheek
With moistned lips
A smile from a stranger
When times are amiss
Brand new silk sheets
On your freshly clean skin
And better yet
Your love tucks you in
The smell of your laundry
That has dried in the sun
Watching your child
Just having some fun
An old picture you find
Digging in the past
Of you and your best friend
Sharing a laugh
The little things
We often forget
Can get us through
What we most regret
Cherish the sunshine
Laugh in the rain
Get up tomorrow
And love life again.
