    -------------------------------------------

    Beauty is worshipped and admired,
    Shallow faces adulated en masse.
    The media glare corrupts its face
    Helens lost to the pit of time.

    Who are the beautiful people?
    Not vain queens with gilded mirrors,
    But those who search for deeper truths,
    Those who care and love in tandem.

    The artistic talents of the world
    Creating a compelling vision,
    Of a life of song, hope and dreams;
    Immortals among juveniles.

    Eternal youth they have discovered,
    Moulding life with delicate hands,
    Understanding others in need,
    Disregarding their deep desires.

    Sadly we mistreat these saviours,
    Ignoring their right to exist,
    Making it hard for them to be;
    A conflict they struggle to win.

    So for us the little, weak people
    Must support these Heaven sent gifts,
    Rather than leaving them to die;
    The light of life embodied.

    What is more beautiful than that?
