    dotsTime's Overdots
    -------------------------------------------

    Hear the winding clock
    tick down
    Hear the ever laughing
    clown
    Hear the Silence belling
    round
    and sail to sleep.

In time we all will know the
    tone
    Of father time's mythical
    groan
and see the falling of the
    foam
    of lifes sea ebb

    Away we go to pleasant
    fields
    or dirt and darkness so
    surreal
and there we wait the final
    peal
    to set us free.

To be so free as death can
    keep
there in the soul of life so
    deep
and in the anvil of those days
    we forge ourselves
    alone we're made.

Again less is more, less rhyming and more meaning. Guess this is a whatever poem! And that's what I got from it. Anyways it is long again and I am trying to figure out why the Dr. Suess poem! Maybe there is a hidden meaning I didn't understand! This isn't a retaliation from your comments on my poem, just thought i'd be honest from one poet to "another! Well peace and stop the cat in the hat stuff my newborn son can do that! Make it more interesting and attracting not lacking peace...
