Description:

Although this is a long poem I think that the readers will get a perspective on how life is, everyday, for those of the human population out there that don't fit in with the "popular" group. That don't wear Abercrombie & Fitch. That don't really care about the outward appearence so much. This is about a personal experience that I went through with my very best friend that this day (R.I.P.) she is still remembered. Please take my advice and remember this poem and the tragedy that happened at Columbine the next time you make fun of or mock or even bully another person. It may come back to bite you in the Behind.

Looking In From Without

Walking and talking with all of your friends
Happy with everything there is nothing to mend
Living your life day by day
Having no stress to be taken away

All of a sudden, rumors all around
Wishing you could fall straight to the ground
With no one there to embrace your fall
Feeling like your head was just thrown against a wall

Your world crashing all around you
Thinking and hoping, but nothing you can do
The word is already out, already known to everyone
Wanting your life to be over, to be done

Never feeling like this has you guessing on what next to do
Thinking it through and through
Finally you get to your conclusion
Feeling like revenge is the only solution

Walking in to school with a gun in your hand
Telling people to follow through with every demand
You find the kids that thought it would be fun to spread a rumor
And spread fear through their bodies like a tumor

Clenching the trigger, then boom! it's all over with a blink of an eye
Realizing what you have just done, now wanting to die
Sitting at this funeral looking up at the sky
Wondering, wondering why?

When you start a rumor or push around other people
Try and make friends with them and treat them like an equal
You only get one life to live whether it's good or bad
Dealing with it whether you are happy or sad

Thinking it is okay to feed on others sadness
Will only lead you into madness
Your life can be taken from you forever
Trying to impress your friends and be clever

You think you are cool by hurting someone else
Think of the experience, going through it yourself
Holding you chin high and trying not to pout
Trying not to be the person looking in from without

What happened in this little story of mine
Will be told to you in time
I guess what I am trying to say
Is never let anybody take you pride and your hapiness away

Some kids decided to spread a rumor about a fellow classmate, how absurd!
Telling everyone to spread the word.
About how the girl was pregnant, had everyone guessing,"What is this?"
When really they were getting themselves into what wasn't their business.

She ended up killing them all, along with herself
She couldn't live with them knowing, she felt dirty and stealth.
The lives of everyone was right, then and there changed forever
Because some stupid boys decided to be clever.

So next time you think it is all fun and games
Then think about how a minister could be reading your names
Some people say bullies have some personal problems
But if no one knows them, how can we solve them?

Picking on others is no way to act
Believe me kharma will get you back
So next time put yourself in their shoes
And think about how you would handle it and what you would do

Life is full of choices to be made and dealt with
There is no end to this very long list
I am now done with my story of life and of death
And know now that all life is, is a little test

To proove whether you will hold your head high and try not to pout
Or will YOU be the one looking In From Without?

This had a good point to it. People do mean things only to hode themselves from only them. I admitt I've done mean things but not that bad and always for a eason. I liked how you cast karma into this because it's true that everything comes back to you and mostlikly ten fold.
