Lonly Road dots

She walks a lonely road
Abandoned and left on her own
Her shadow's the only one who walks beside her
Her shadow's the only one who understands her
They say they'll be there for her
Yet she walks alone
Her shadow's the only one that's always there
Her shadow's the only one who ever listens
She walks this endless road
Not knowing where it will take her
Her shadow's the only on there to guide her
Her shadow's the only one...

  haha well, I guess I cant compare this to greenday, Im outta the loop and havnt listened to them in forever!!
I like this because it reminded me how people feel when they're lonely...how sometimes we think that no one ever really understands us.Even though it was simple the thoughts it made me feel were complicated....the 3rd person wrting was interesting

  I didn't think of greenday when I read this; I pictured a girl walking on the side of the highway in the desert, following her shaddow. I really liked this one, the feeling of solitude was done well. Great read!

  I luv this it reminds me of me.its exactly how i feel.Its pretti kewl and so is green day hehe.It is short but short poems r good too.

  THis does remind me of Greendays new song, whatchamacallit. I'm not all that hip on modern music, but I've heard nothing but that song as of recently.

Anyway, overall this is really a great poem. At girst I thoguht it was just going to be another cliché lost love poem, but this one actually had some real originality/personality (look at that rhyme baby) going on about it.

Honestly I have nothings really that I would suggest chanign about it except for the mispelling in the title. Missing an "e" thats all.

Nice piece.

  Hi a nice poem. Very simple but much to the point.
The message is very clear being all alone.
I have written something like this, ( I turn around) the only difference, even my shadow isn’t with.

  hmm. I like it! It reminds me much of Greenday which is always a plus *thumbs up* I especially like the talk of the shadows. G'write!
