has become monstrous

with a stout look of mistrust,

liek I didn't take care of you
when there were times
when i was practically dying from you
just so you would see the sun shine.

when I needed help, you were there,
when I asked for advice, you were there.
But when my heart was cracking, you left
leaving the blank stare to cover my face
and blemish my soiled tears after.
My conscious
has become unrelentless,
and yet I express to impress
to make sense of my nothingness.
I've strayed from myself
stepping away from the box
travel into the great unknown
tracking me down like the prized fox
stealing the forbidden sheep
and removing them to his lair
all during the shepard's sleep
under rules no longer fair.
But now it's time to reset,
time to forget the regret
for the will inside me is just.
