Description:

Definitly not my best, but im not sure where to start with what i submit. A lot of my poems lately have been about the pressure to grow up that happens so suddenly (I just turned 18). I want feedback. Even not-very-nice feedback.

Push it silver sweet,
push it all away from you.
Trash it, make it neat
years just fall away from you
from the shaded creek
to the highways, city streets,
precious life delete,
push it all away from you.

Push it slivers gone,
fingertips are getting worn,
push away the days,
seahorse clouds and arbor maze
turns to choking smog and haze
push it off with no delays,
fight your dear desires
push it all into the fire.
