Another comedy coffee poem for all those people who liked the first one. More Dr. Suess style this time, I think. Let me know your thoughts, what you think

Tastes Like Coffee dots

Coffee, coffee, everywhere
Over here and over there
Coffee flavoured ice-cream, coffee candy canes
When it comes to coffee, they take great pains
To put the flavour everywhere

Coffee cookies, coffee cake,
How much more will they make
Chocolate bars, and even bread
The coffee chapstick has gone to my head
I wonder if Japan's got coffee sake

Slushies, soft drinks, and buble gum
What next, what else will come
Coffee scented pens, paper, and sticker
Even scented candles, and air freshener
Are they going to invent a coffee flavoured plum

Coffee tasting yogert, brownies, and alcohol
With coffee they're really on the ball
Popsicles, doughnuts, what comes after that
I'm really going to have to tip my hat
To their efforts to 'coffee flavour' it all

The last straw, unfortunately, happened today
I really like coffee, so I hate to say
I just don't think I'm ready for this yet,
A coffee flavoured cigarette
From when I dropped it in my cup, upon a dinner tray.

  Caffiene...gotta have caffiene...
Krazy is right..coffe flavoured chapstick doesnt taste like coffee..it taste like..well..almost hot chocolate but not really. Man, now all I want is Coffee...and I don't even like coffee! This poem was a nice little uplift, though it makes it a downer on coffee, lol. And it is dr. Suess like, but hey, doctor suess is cool! ok, now im rambling...

  lol....this poem made me feel like id had one too many coffee's for sure ...I love the enthusiasm you put into this *putting jug on* ....I love the flow and the descriptions *going to make some coffee*

  MMMMMMMMcoffee. *drools a bit* I luv my coffee and this is so funny. Yes, I suppose that is taking it a bit too far. Although the coffee cigars don't taste half bad, but that's another story. Coffee is forgever good, I just hope they dont go overboard and we all get tired of it.

besides all the coffee falvours, think of all the cola too..
well, i enjoyed this, light hearted cute little peice..
but i gotta go,
i got thirsty all of a sudden
and jucice or water just won't do...

  Hmm, that does put a damper on the coffee flavouring. I love coffee cakes, oh no, now all I can think about is coffee, I can even smell coffee. I tip my hat to you, I will go home and drink a cup of coffee in your honor, lol.

P.S. Coffee chapstick is all good until you lick your lips and discover it doesn't taste like coffee at all! it just makes you cough a little...or it does to me anyway

  This was fun and cute however the last lines of every stanza just completely throws off your whole piece.

its like we read all the rhymes and just as we are getting into the flow *BAM* brick walled by the last line.

I also have to agree with dontsave in saying the last stanza didnt quit fit well.

  lol...that was pretty funny. the last stanza seems a little off, with the whole dinner tray thing, but that's cool. the third stanza seems a little off, because "plum" drops to a line of it's own. if there is any way to shorten that down, i'd advise it. other than that, it's a rather amusing write. I'm sure it's that much more amusing because i'm a caffine adict

  so,you really have a lot to say about coffee.because of my comments about your other coffee poem,my comments here will be brief and to the point.you are probably right about the proliferation of coffee based products.i would love some coffee flavoured ice cream but i don't eat sweets.there is no doubt in my mind that in today's world.coffee is a substance that is over used and outright abused.i hope that you can avoid the pitfalls of using what can sometimes be a wonderful product.good luck and fare well.
