Two cats sitting on a wall,
tails intertwined, gazing at the sky,
heads close together, they watch a star fall,
turning their heads, they look at each other,
the two cats sitting on the wall.
An owl's hoot pierces the silence,
a needle pulling thread, it's heard,
weaving through the night, followed by echoes,
in the emptiness that follows, the cat's meow,
their voices unite under the moon's glow
The full moon's light breaking through the black sky,
a field of snow lies beneath the wall,
not white, but blue, under where the cats lie,
the glowing expanse of snow to one side,
the other boasts a barn, stretching high.
Two cats on a wall, watching each other,
each one's glowing eyes focused on their partner,
noses touching, they start to purr,
with love in the air, they sit content,
