Description:

-I know what you're probably thinking. Christian Rock... why? Hey, it's not Christian rock, anyone can listen to it. Never really wrote it with any religion in mind. This is my valentine dedication, going out to a few people who inspired me throughout the years that I now live only in memory. Those memories have prevented me from doing some really stupid things this past 9 months. Without them, I'd be nothing.

"You Are My..."

Now that it’s over
There’s no place to run
The start of the ending
Has only begun
But now that you’re gone
I have nowhere to go
Will I ever find you
I might never know
And I just can’t help it
I know that it’s true
When life brings me down
I turn to you

You are my hero
In all that you do
You are my savior
The one I turn to
You are my idol
That I worship true
You are my hero
You are my…

Alone in the darkness
Till you bring me light
I lie six feet under
You bring me to life
I fight back what ails me
Without your cure
Fallen far from grace
I’m no longer pure
But I just can’t help it
With all I go through
When life brings me down
I turn to you

You are my hero
In all that you do
You are my savior
The one I turn to
You are my idol
That I worship true
You are my hero
You are my…

I just can’t help it
Don’t know what I’d do
Without you to save me
From what I go through

You are my hero
In all that you do
You are my savior
The one I turn to
You are my idol
That I worship true
You are my hero
You are my…
Hero
In all that you do
You are my savior
That I have turned to
You are my idol
That always stays true
You are my hero
You are my…

Ahh I really enjoy and appreciate this one. The world cannot have enough praise songs, rock songs, songs period and this is a beautiful edition. Reminds me a little of creed, which I do hope you'll take as a compliment.

And who better to write a Valentine's song about . Anyway, it's beautiful and it's refreshing to see something pointed in a different direction. I should remember that sometime..
God bless.

Ow.. I like this. you should sell it or something to one of those hymnal places where you could get it published and sent to all these different churches. My favorite part is the chorus or the first stanza.
Kep it up.

This is very good. I love the chorus.. That I think is the best part.

You are my hero
In all that you do
You are my savior
The one I turn to
You are my idol
That I worship true
You are my hero
You are my…

wow, i really liked this. Hits you close to home i guess. this would be good as a poem or a song, it's ncie that way, where you can memorize it and sing it, or jsut recite it. I really do love it, it's just so well writen.

I love this poem-song lyrics, whatever. It's wonderful yes it is.
Some songs are weird because you never know if the person is talking about a lover or a friend or God. x3 They all sound to be of the same importance when put into words of longing and such. :3 Good poem for Valentine's Day.

Good lyrics for Valentines day. I'm not Christian, so I can't really say much, but I do think that this is worthy of getting published.

The only mistake that I saw was that you had it posted three times. Lol, it happens.

Keep it up,
=Meredith=
