The spelling error was intended. Okay, that's it. I know the flow kind of sucks but I had a song stuck in my head and followed that rhythm.

Where Has It Gone?

I've spent all mourning looking for it
But I don't know where it went
I searched your hands, your arms, your lips
And you looked over mine
Still I haven't found it, yet
Perhaps I'm wasting time
I've rumaged through my backpack
And I emptied my back pockets
I even checked with a few of your friends,
Fearing it'd been stolen
I'm searching, missing, confused, and wondering
Tell me if you've seen it, sweetie,
Where has our love gone?

i like the play on the word "mourning." this is sad, looking for someone's love everywhere and not finding it, even when they are present. perhaps it was mislaid and you just need to find it?

beautiful piece and again your longing and confusion comes through brilliantly. I too have felt these things and this piece brings back those old and painful memories.
