Darkness falls beneath my weathered skin,
Falling into the memory of the past.
My body is drifting away, becoming tightly thin.
Growing weaker and weaker way to fast.
Muscles rely on the bones,
And bone I have very few.
Throw the smallest bit of stone
And break my bones in two.
Hollow is my mind,
Shallow is your words
The wisdom she gave was so kind,
But now fly away like migrating birds.
Like a spider crawling away
From its nest of few
To a world full of prey,
Only to find out it is prey too.
