Attack from the Grammar Queen

I can’t get away from you…
I try to run…but my itching fingers always come back to you.
Damn you, Comma, you can’t leave your home
And you to Apostrophe stay where you belong.
These rules of the English language are so binding.
Like tight ropes on my mind.
These spelling errors, they pop out like lightening out of the sky.
I can’t get through reading a work without pausing and revising.
I am losing valuable feelings with every deathtrap set.
There should not be period there.
I am broke
No, I am broken.
No, I am defeated and I wither away. (There that’s sounds better)

Well, I had such fun reading this one. You are absolutely right; as we’re trying to fix things and obey the “Grammar Queen” we’re losing so much emotions.
This was quite enjoyable read but I think that you could add more.

I enjoyed this very much. It's so true, sometimes I can write the most beautiful poem, then I sit there and nitpick it until it's grammatically correct. It takes away from the initial feeling of the write when that happens sometimes. I like this, it's fresh and fun, not so much funny, but light-hearted, it made me smile. Thanks! Good job! I hope to read more of your work.

*hugs a plenty*

This poem has potential to be good, but you need to work on it a little more. This seems to be a popular topic. With your potential try to strive for originality.

Personally, I think the spelling problems and the odd punctuation and grammer flaws made this way too hard to read. I didn't care for it. The sentiment might have been nice, but all those flaws just made it too hard to find the message.

Yes, people, I'm joking. This was very funny and I enjoyed it a great deal.

  Lol! (Er..)

I'm the exact same way. My biggest pet peeve is when people do not use correct spelling, punctuation and grammar.

It drives me mad.

Don't get me started on computer slang though. For instance, "Lol." I use it myself, but it still bugs the hell out of me when I do.

Dear god, I am crazy.

omg, I wasn't sure if i should read this, for fear, it maybe about me,lol

I never bother about the spelling and grammar part, first. I always look for the message within that the writer is trying to say. Then I will gemtle nudge them about the spelling and grammar.

This was a very cute poem.

My only suggestion to make it more humurous would be to mispell spelling and grammar, lol

excellent fun write
