    -------------------------------------------

I trudged into the darkness once again
But I wasn't scared this time
The aim of this journey wasn't to bleed
The aim of this journey to was to meet the need.

It was dark in the sludge as I trudged once again
But this time i didnt go under
I learned to be light in the darkness of pain
I learned to be light in the darkness of day.

I danced as I trudged in the sludge once again,
    Weaving the magic of love
The power of love can turn sludge to rain
The power of love can wash away pain

After trudging through the sludge this time
I found the real sun shining
And the tears have washed away the past
And the need for tears has finally passed.

it was alright...a wee odd but alright...i say odd because the choice of descriptors plays different roles in different peoples imaginations but I do believe I rather enjoyed reading this...

I thought this was quite good. may need some tweaking here and there but overall it's light and deep at the same time. kind of like the realization that we can handle whatever comes our way. the pain passes, the strength takes over. I like this poem. It sheds a light on moving forward away from pain. nice work.
