Description: After a legnthy peroid of warmth late in the winter last year a buttercup bloomed in my front yard only to be covered with snow the very next day. A spontainious poem with no edits
Bliss of Existence ( -------------------------------------------
Pushing through frozen ground
a flower
ignores oncoming crush of frost
and blooms
a small yellow sun
casts it's light
from under the clouds
warming my soul
and like a kettle
filled with blissofexistence
I burst forth
with laughter
Reading your work is like taking time out to indulge oneself, simple and elegant, poignant, and most importantly: you notice the smallest things - which are often apt to give the most pleasure, and in turn, you are able to relate that to us the readers... excellent piece - as usual ^_^
It is amazing how sometimes the smallest of things can make such amazing impressions. This piece, seems to embody the ability to be unique, and to exist despite opression.
