Watching as the sun goes down
Wondering what will come
Trying so hard just not to cry
For tomorrow is another day
I'm trapped in what has freed me
With chains and locks too
What use to fight away my tears
Has caused my tears to flow
The one who use to be so strong
And fought to live for me
Is torn apart He's dieing in pain
The one who was there
When things got though
Is now the cause of pain
He use to be so strong
But my betrayal took that all away
And now i sit and watch the one
The one that kept me here
Die day by day
As he loses his mind
My toxic love
That brought back his life
Is now what drains his blood
I think that this may be THE deepest poem that I have EVER read. This is beautiful in the fact that it is raw emotion, nothing else but pure emotion..it seems as though you just sat down and let it all flow from you, and many poets dont really do that, they try to put everything in a certain format so that society will like it..but this is all you, and i love that. I think that this is one of the BEST poems that i have ever read. I like how you talked about love and how sometimes love hurts, even if you dont want it to. It sounds like you really loved him, well, that was pretty obvious. This poem made me feel as though i really knew you, as though we had been friends for a long time, or as if you really know me and you wrote a poem about my love life. This reminds me of a relationship that i had, and how in the end he is the one that is hurting..it sucks..gosh..But, you did wonderfully..you are very talented and i plan on reading some other works of yours.
