Felt the need to write a song from a different perspective. Tell me what you think.

    dotsA Savior's Lullabydots

    [intro. this is a secret.]

    Don't you trust me?
    I thought you knew
    I gave my life
    So I could save you

I made the stars and the flowers
    The oceans and the snow
But you don't see my love for you
    You don't even know

    Hush little baby
    Don't you cry
    Your Savior's gonna sing you
    A lullaby
So when I say I love you
    You'll know why

It's the light in your eyes
    When you raise your voice
    When you love your enemies
    I rejoice

    My heart beats in pride
When you do things for me
    Please let me show you
The love you were meant to see

    Don't you trust me?
    I thought you knew
    I gave my life
    So I could save you

    Trust me
    I know the plans
    I have for you
Put your life in my hands

    [I feel]
    Your tears
    [I know]
    Your fears
    [I made]
    The stars
    [Let me hold]
    Your heart
    [I have]
    What is true
    [I love]

    [repeat intro]

I already told you that I like this, but I will comment on here anyways. Paul still hasn't answered *going crazy with curiosity*. Anyway, can I stay at your house the weekend of Tolo? The 1st through the 3rd, cause my mommy's gonna be gone, and I don't wanna go to my daddy's, lol. So ask your mommy and daddy. PLEASE! Ttyl. Call me. How was Shari's? K, I'm done. Luv ya!

I'm not religious, but I really enjoyed your piece. Very, very different, almost unique, I might even write some music for it, but who could I sing it to? I reckon this was a great job of putting all the son of God clichés into a song without it being a bible-bashing hymn. in other words, excellent! Make 'em think! Cheers.
