his smile drives you crazy
his smell turns you on
his lips make you hazy
he's already won

i dont even know why i try
my feelings mean nothing to you
my attempts only make me cry
you dont listen to what i dont say to you

i have tried to show you
but you seem to ignore me
dont know what else to do
to try and get you to see

it hurts to know yall are together
while i sit at home waiting
i feel as if ill be waiting forever
for your love im impatiently anticipating

hey I haven't talked to you in a while. things are well in my world. Hope they are in yours too. I just took a new job as the superintendent of the first united methodist church in gilmer. I miss our little talks. there is a lot of painful memories in this poem. Sounds kinda like something I would have written. I'm just kinda wondering who it is about? I'll talk to you later. byes.

painfull sibject to write about. The only advise I can offer, as far as the writing anyway, is to shy away from repeating YOU too much. I offer the sme advise someone else gave me, try to free flow it instead of making it rhyme.

I have exprerienced the same feelings before which really allowed me to relate (only it was a she ;)) I think anyone who has been looking for someone who doesn't love back can relate to this. Pretty good write.
