Description:

Poem i wrote when i thought my friends all gave up on me, obviously.

Gave Up On Me

When I needed you
You weren’t there
When I needed help
All you could do was stare
Stare into my tear filled eyes
You turned away
You gave up on me
And I really don't know why.
Please explain to me
Why it's so hard these days
To find a friend
That will stay with you 'til the end
Will be your shoulder to cry on
Will reassure you in times of need
Will confide in you
As you confide in them
And will never give up on you
As you gave up on me.

I really liked this. Very good flow and alot of feeling has been put into it. I know how this is, so I like it even more because of it. I loved this part:

"All you could do was stare
Stare into my tear filled eyes
You turned away
You gave up on me
And I really don't know why."

Very descriptive, and captivating.
And then the end, this part:

"And will never give up on you
As you gave up on me."
Such a good ending, and dramatic, great job.

Keep writing :)
