    -------------------------------------------

    I love a hugger.
Not the kind that pats you
    on the back, and
    steps away to quick.
or one who stays too long
    and turns into a prick.
I love the one that knows
how to wrap his arms around
    you and tells you
    Hello.
    Goodbye.
    Have a better day.
    The kind of hugger that
is a breath of fresh air
    or warmer than
    the blanket I keep
    on high.
    Broad shoulders
and a place beneath his chin
    to tuck my head in.
    I met a hugger.

tell us more about the hugger you met! curious minds want to know... i hate the kind of people who leave an ocean's gap between you and them and just pat you on the back. i think hugs are underrated. one needs at least 4 a day for maintenance! thanks for sharing.

      "Broad shoulders

Liked your poem. Very uncomplicated subject, something sometimes we take for granted. This made me smile. Thank you for that :)

My boyfriend gives great hugs like that, and sometimes I make our hugs last longer because of how safe and comfortable I feel in his arms, good poem. I don't think this poem needs anything, it's simply short, simple, and sweet.
