    -------------------------------------------

I'm just a Sticky Tape Worm,
    leaching at your soul.
From angst bled teens to drama queens,
    your emotions I have stole.

I'm just a Sticky Tape Worm,
    you're favorite parasite.
    Feasting on your carnage cakes,
    and laughing at your plight.

I'm just your Sticky Tape Worm,
    for those who've abandoned hope.
    I innocently glide away,
as you dangle from your rope.

    Just another Sticky Tape Worm,
    to chronicle your pain.
When you're feeling helpless and alone,
I exploit you for my gain.

Although just a Sticky Tape Worm,
    festering in your mind,
    My aimless scribbles immortalize
    you and all your kind.

ROF&LMFAO! he he he Only u, my dear, could so eloquently & truthfully use a tape worm as a wonderful poetic piece! I was listening to Louis Armstrong, Skokiaan (South African Song) and it's a bit of a goofy, happy song & the beat with his deep, scratch voice & the horns just helped this come to life. Like if the tape worm was talking/singing this diddy of yours. Thanks for something very wise & hilarious at the same time!

Yum! Sticky tape worm! *licks lips*

    *gags*

This was cute. Very funny yet at the same time...very serious. Kinda like a killer sticky tape worm. You should get ahold of Steven Spielburg and tell him you have an idea for a new horror film.

Good, real good, I agree with Sandra, the repetition was the only thing I could find to pick on, absolutely great analogy, if a bit of a gruesome thought! LOL
Very well done how would you go at 3 a.m. with lots of wine?-hang on, no, that's me!

This is unique.. an unusual topic.. well written. Reads and flows well I think. The only thing I see to critque on is the repetition of the Sticky Tape Worm...
    Otherwise,
    You did good! :)

    Take Care!

I really enjoyed this- it was entertaining yet had great bareings. The rhyming was excellent- gives the poem a great flow and didn't fall in the trap of forced. I like the analogy and the wording. I'm rambling now- that means I must love this if I am giving this much praise.
