    dotsFootprints/ Fault Linedots

    To others the lie
    was as imperceptible
    as the footprints of ants,
    but I could sense it
    if only as a spark
    that worked its way
    from behind your blue contacts.
    Now this infinitesimal falsehood
seems like a fault line to me.

sometimes you just know when people are lying. and when you find out you say, clever lie. you really had me. see ya later.

why do people feel bad when they've been lied to?

I love the blue contacts metaphor for falsehood and lies and the way you have this working out from behind facade.
Image rich and emotive in a short space Minimalmiss...
