    dotsIf I Were Goddots

I would make the ocean from your tears
The sun as bright as your smile
The sky as clear as your skin
Rivers as long as your hair
Fruits as luscious as your lips

I would make Trees as long as your legs
Grass as straight as your eyelashes
Clouds as soft as your heart
Leaves as curved as your hips
Sand the color of your eyes
And shooting stars as sacred as your soul
If I were God I would make the world as perfect as you

It's an o.k. poem. I can tell you put a lot of thought into it. It just needed a little flow to it to really give it it's legs. I'm sure you'll take care of that.

This poem is not simple but it's not that great either. I'm not saying I'm no Maya Angelou but you could make it a bit more...realistic.
