There is no emotion in this realm.
I cannot feel the icy air brush my cheek, nor the dripping of water in the pure steel in my hand.
I cannot smell the taint washing over her mind, her soul, nor can I smell the blood on her lips.
I cannot hear her cries of pain, nor can I hear the fear in her eyes.
I cannot see her cries of agony and torment, nor can I see the pool of blood forming in her eyes.
I cannot experience the beauty of my blade sliding into your flesh, nor the blood flowing down the edge. I cannot know the pain you feel, the fear of acknowledgment, the realization your lifeblood is leaving you.
I cannot know the emotions I live for. Only the hatred I have learned to embrace.
